B.E / B Tech . Electrical Engineering is an undergraduate Electrical Engineering course. The duration of the course is four years and it deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism and involves the study of generation, distribution and transmission of electrical power. It also covers a range of sub-disciplines such as power, instrumentation, analogue & digital electronics, control systems, signal processing and telecommunications. The B.E. (Electrical Engineering) degree topics generally cover the study of almost all the above-mentioned sub-disciplines of electrical engineering in its initial 2-3 years and then moving towards specialization in one or more sub-disciplines towards the final years. The degree program lays strong and detailed emphasis on the understanding of electrical networks, electrical energy converters, electromagnetic field theory and related devices, electrical energy distribution systems, etc. The engineering course is a very valuable and important one in the electrical field which opens many career scopes for the degree holders.
