B. Tech Agricultural Engineering is an undergraduate program which is of a total of 4 years duration, divided into 8 semesters. The candidates who have passed 12th or any equivalent degree in any Science stream can pursue a course in B. Tech Agricultural Engineering. Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the specialised concept of Agricultural Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Agricultural concepts. The various areas of concepts which are covered by B. Tech in Agricultural Engineering course include food processing, technology in food production, agricultural process, machinery, etc.
The selection of candidates for admission to B. Tech Agricultural Engineering course is done either through direct admission or through a national level entrance exam such as JEE Mains.
