B. Tech in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology is an undergraduate course focusing mainly on the study of polymers relating to industrial appliances. It is related to the study of rubbers, plastics, composite appliances and more. It also deals with characteristics and chemical properties of compounds.
Aspiring candidates need to hold a minimum aggregate score of 60% with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as the main subjects. Additionally, the JEE Main entrance paper also needs to be cleared by the applicant.
Course Duration
Like every other engineering course, B. Tech in Polymer Science and Chemical Technology is a full time 4- year long course divided into 8 semesters. The course offers theoretical and laboratory practical papers and project work. Multiple laboratories and premises to carry out the projects jointly with the faculty members from the industries are offered.
