M Tech in Electrical Engineering is a postgraduate program which is of a total of 2 years duration, divided into four semesters. The candidates who have pursued a degree in Bachelors of Technology (B. Tech) in any stream can pursue a course in M. Tech in Electrical Engineering. Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the specialised concept of Electrical Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Electrical concept. The various areas of Electrical which are covered by M. Tech in Electrical Engineering course include Vehicular Technology, Electro-optics, Laser Technology, Remote Sensing, Ferro Electronics, etc.
The selection of candidates for admission to M Tech in EE course is done either through direct admission or through a national level entrance exam such as Gate or TANCET.
