M Tech Information Technology or Master of Technology in Information Technology is a postgraduate Information Technology Management course. Information Technology is a two years specialization program. M Tech. (Information Technology) degree course covers the study of a variety of functions performed by IT engineers; right from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases. The M.Tech. (Information Technology) degree topics generally cover the study of the three main areas of specialization in Information Technology namely network administration, computer support and programming. The M Tech. (Information Technology) programs in India are usually structured as an Engineering Research degree, lesser than PhD M Tech. (Information Technology) course is broad in nature covering all major areas of network administration, computer support and programming. Many elective subjects are made available to students to enable them to specialize in any of the major fields in IT studies such as in Human-Computer Interaction, Bioinformatics, Wireless Communication and Computing, Microelectronics, Robotics, Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems.
