M Tech Chemical Engineering is a postgraduate program which is of a total of 2 years duration, divided into 4 semesters. The candidates who have passed B. Tech in Chemical Engineering or any equivalent stream can pursue a course in M. Tech Chemical Engineering. Through this course, the students are provided with a curriculum of the advanced concept of Chemical Engineering with in-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Chemical management and extraction concepts. The various areas of concepts which are covered by B Tech in Chemical Engineering course include Advanced Chemistry, Solid and Mechanics, Advanced Chemical Engineering, petrochemicals, Chemical Plant Designing and Operations, etc.
The selection of candidates for admission to M Tech Chemical Engineering course is done either through direct admission or through a national level entrance exam such as GATE.
