ME/M Tech Cryogenic Engineering

Post Graduation : Engineering
Eligibility: B Tech / BE
M E Cryogenic Engineering or Master of Engineering in Cryogenic Engineering is a two-year postgraduate Mechanical Engineering course. Cryogenic engineering is a branch of mechanical engineering and chemical engineering which deals with cryogenics and related very low-temperature processes such as air liquefaction, cryogenic engines (for rocket propulsion), cryogenic surgery, et cetera. Cryogenic engineering is important because it plays a major role in modern industry and science. Today cryogenically cooled electrical machines and superconductors are widely used in power generation, instrumentation, transport and some of the newer fields of technology. The course includes properties of cryogenic fluids and materials, refrigeration, cryostat design, instrumentation, safety and properties of HE II.

M E  Cryogenic Engineering Eligibility
Aspiring students should have completed a B E /B Tech. with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Some of the very reputed universities and colleges conduct an entrance examination for admission.
