MPhil. Zoology or Master of Philosophy in Zoology is a postgraduate Zoology course. Zoology is the branch of biology which relates to the animal kingdom, including the structure, embryology, evolution, classification, habits, and distribution of all animals, both living and extinct. The criteria to award this degree varies from university to university. While some stress mainly on research work, there are also few others that stress heavily on the theoretical study along with research work. But one thing is for sure, there is no hardship rule. The students under this degree are required to prepare research papers on the various zoological topics. The minimum duration is one year and the maximum time of doing this degree is two years but it varies from institute to institute.
