M.Sc Geoinformatics is a postgraduate program of 2- years designed for the students who want to excel in the field of applying geospatial technologies to solve the most complicated world challenges in the environmental, social and economic area. This rapidly evolving field of Geoinformatics is bringing some excellent meaningful insights to solve the problems of the real world by bringing together the technologies and tools required for exploration, visualisation, acquisition and integration of various spatial data. The admissions to this course are through an entrance test-based system. However, there are some institutes which offer admissions based on the merit of the student at the qualifying examination of their graduation. In addition to this, the student must have completed their graduation in the Science stream from a recognised institute.
