Sakthi College of Nursing and School of Nursing were established by Sowdamman Charitable Trust in 1.11.2006 by Patron N. Mahalingam and the courses started in 2007. It is approved by Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India and recognized by Indian Nursing Council & Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai.
