BCom Travel and Tourism Management is an undergraduate course pursued under the commerce spectrum that focuses more on financial and economical management of the Travel and Tourism sector. The course duration is of 3 years and is divided into 6 semesters of study. It can be taken up by students who are interested in financial and business management studies with a specialization in tourism and travel management and have a minimum aggregate of 50% in their 10+2 exams from any recognized boards. The course aims to imbibe the knowledge of business management and financial management into the travel and tourism sector, of which both are the most thriving sectors everywhere in the world.
The course ensures that the students excel in specialized areas such as eco-tourism, accommodation management, finance and revenue management, etc. which are essentials for a tourism and travel service company to establish themselves in the market.
