M.A. Arabic Language and Literature is an interactive and Interdisciplinary course offered to the students under the guidelines of U G C. The department has devised its course of Study/Syllabi under the CB CS scheme. Students will delve into courses that sharpen their language skills as well as those that deal with variations in the literature. Some of the subjects currently being taught in the Masters programme are history of Arabic Literature, Classical Poetry and Prose, Syntax and Morphology, Translation, Modern Arabic Poetry, Novel, Drama, Short Story, Rhetoric and Prosody, Literary Criticism and Research Methodology.
