Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) or Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSc Public Health) is an undergraduate course in public health sciences. The duration of the course is of 4 years inclusive of industrial visits, research projects and internships.

BPH course imparts knowledge and skills in students for public healthcare programmes where they get to study subjects focusing on healthcare programmes, policies, recent developments, social, behavioural and environmental health. Moreover, they also study human anatomy, diseases, and other relevant subjects like women’s health, child & adolescents’ health and nutrition. Besides, the BPH course has important subjects like health economics, ethics & laws of public health, disaster management and health system management.

After completing the BPH course, a student has the potential to work with public health organisations, in critical care and emergency wards of hospitals, maternity care, child-care and as a nutrition consultant etc.
