M.Sc Allied Health Sciences (Physician Assistant)
The masters degree program trains students to become physician assistants. The course is designed to equip students with knowledge of diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive healthcare services, The duties of physician assistant involves in assisting doctors in areas of diagnosis of diseases and its treatment. they are trained to record medical histories , patient examination and recommend for laboratory tests and X-rays. Students get hands on experience in handling injuries by suturing splinting and casting. Training provides extensive practical sessions to face challenges in healthcare issues and find strategies in solving them. Students are given exposure to enhance their communication and interpersonal skills to deal with patients.
